59 Random Facts About Me

59 random facts about me

When I read other blogs I’m always curious about the person behind it and an “About Me” page doesn’t do it for me. I’m sorry, it just doesn’t. And I believe others would probably think the same about me when they read my blog(not that I really care about what people think). Anyways, I thought to myself: Let’s get a bit personal and share some more details and facts about myself. So here it goes!

  1. And yes, I chose to write my blog in English. Simply, because I have a global mindset and love to connect with people from all over the world.

  1. I have 2 siblings (brother and sister). I’m the middle child.

I got my driver’s license(automatic ONLY!) at the age of 27 within 2-3 months, but I haven’t driven a car ever since. I just don’t like driving (I’m actually afraid, especially when driving on the highway). 1. Thank you so much Charlotte. 🙂 I hope you got to know me just a little bit more through this list. I just want to let my readers know that I’m actually a human being like them, telling my stories through a blog, behind a laptop, and not a robot LOL. So tell me, are you going to make a list of your own as well?? It’s kind of fun actually. Besides, you don’t have to make it TOO personal if you don’t want to of course. Let me know, xo – Jey.

  1. This is such a lovely way to get to know someone I think! (I just might do a post/video like this too.. hehe :D). I am into astrology as well and find it so fascinating! Most people don’t get it or want to believe it because they thin astrology is simply the start sign horoscopes you read in the paper.. when it’s so much more than that! And no, we (those who do believe) are not just delusional.

Unlike you, I haven’t quite traveled to as many countries but would really like to start traveling more and seeing new places especially since I seem to have an affinity toward learning about people and why they like or do what they do in general.. so in short, culture.
I’m glad I was able to find your blog!

    Xo

    1. This is sooo lovely to hear Angela. Very much appreciate your kind words. I’ve always been a believer of astrology but lately I’ve been doing more research about it and it has helped me to understand myself and people around me much better. People indeed think it’s about predictions only, but it’s so much more than that if people would give it a chance to understand. I’m glad we are on the same page. I’ve been following these motivators (like Ralph from Infinite Waters) and astrologers that really help me understand things a lot better. It feels good to have a fellow blogger here who is “awakened” as well🤗🙌 You should definitely make your own list of facts…it’s fun to write actually and it is indeed a great way to get to know a blogger a bit more. Let me know if you’ve written yours. If you get the opportunity to travel, yiu should ..you don’t have to go far. Traveling just broadens your horizon and perspective about the world and you learn a lot about yourself too. I’m glad we connected. !! Have a lovely weekend!!XO-JEY 🙌🌸😊💕

    1. Hi L.R. from THE RINK, Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Very much appreciated!! 🙂 I just checked out your blog, and love your different take on fashion blogging. It would be great to add some of your personality into your fashion posts as well and switch things up a bit. It would be definitely fun to read more about you as well. I guess everyone is different in their own quirky, but wonderful way! I just followed you as well, so keep up the good work and let me know once you’ve updated your “About Me” page. 1. Thank you so much Stylish Chameleon 😉 and for connecting with me on Instagram as well. You should create your own list of random facts as well. That’s so great you went to the Philippines by yourself. I’ve always wanted to go there, but still haven’t done so. Ah well, maybe in the future, because for now I have other travels planned. As for astrology, I love how I run into more and more people who are a believer as well, because people still see it as “fake” or whatever term they have. I believe if people would do more research about it, they would come to know that there’s more than we are told to believe;). So I try to be open to everything! xo, Jey.

  3. What a wonderful post! It’s such a great way to get to know someone. I may have to steal this idea and make my own list. I also have the travel bug but don’t get to do it much right now as I have 2 elderly dogs that I refuse to send to a kennel. So for the next little while, I will travel between home and my new little piece of heaven set beside a large lake in Ontario’s Muskoka country. Thanks again for sharing…I look forward to reading more in the future!

    1. Hi Jenn, Thanks for visiting my blog and taking time out of your day to comment on this post. You may go ahead and steal this, because I got inspired by other Youtube vloggers and bloggers as well who have done their own “random facts” posts. Only I went a bit further by listing a total of 59 random facts LOL. As for traveling with dogs, I totally understand, but Ontario is beautiful as well. And you say you live in Muskoka? WOW That’s beautiful!!!! You don’t have to go oversees in order to get the “travel feeling”. You can have your little staycation as well and to me Muskoka is just as GOOD. Would love to visit that area one day. I love Canada , I use to live and study in Montreal. Guess that’s another random fact, which I will add in the future. Thanks again for stopping by. xoxo, Jey.

    1. Hey girl, thanks for reading. I’m not sure if I’m cool though, but I appreciate the compliment.😊 People around me think I’m crazy for believing in astrology also, but if they would give it a chance, I think they will find out more about themselves than the ideas they previously had. It thought me a lot about myself and confirmed why I think the way I do and act the way I act. I use it as a tool to make better decisions in my life and understand others around me as well. I learn a lot from youtube astrologers. ✨🌠 Happy new moon in pisces, btw!🌑♋

      1. Well that’s what I do too. I think it’s OK if they don’t want to learn anything, most people are afraid of that. I definitely enjoy studying that and I take my time to really getting to know myself in the deepest way possible. I’m a Sagittarius and that’s how I roll 😃😃😃

  4. So interesting, I just started my own blog recently, will definitely make a list like this someday. The funny thing is that we have so much in common, mentioning them all would be a lot of repetition and i guess that was why my attention was caught after reading some of your blog post. It was amazing reading this, and great to know you jey 😂
