Bow Tie and Stripes

blue and white striped bow tie

Somehow striped or pinstriped shirts have always been associated with an office/work environment, and it’s often the basic/standard kind in terms of design. And when it comes to the styling, pinstriped shirts are usually styled very boring. I’m the type that likes to stray away from the norm and do things differently, same for the way I dress(but I still like to keep it fresh and stylish!). So when I discovered this sleeveless blue and white striped shirt with a bow tie waist, the people from SheIn sent it over to me so I could try it out for my blog.

The “missing” sleeves are actually attached to the side and function as a waist belt. The only thing you have to do is to wrap the sleeves around your waist and tie them into a perfect or messy bow(whichever you prefer).

The bow gives the shirt a more feminine/girly touch and you can basically wear it throughout the year, in any season; You can style it with a blazer, a cardigan, jeans, skirt etc. etc. The possibilities are endless! I decided to pair this striped shirt from SheIn with white capri jeans from H&M and blue denim wedges from Bershka to create a fresh, Summer look.
