Hi lovely readers!
With that said, I’m falling in love with culottes more and more. At first I wasn’t so sure about these skirt-meets-trousers type of garment( here’s a recap on my first culottes post), but after some time it really started to grow on me. And not to mention that culottes are very comfy, especially when they’re made of a ribbed knit fabric, like my burgundy one from Bershka (which is from the new f/w16 collection btw). I styled my burgundy culottes with a grey ribbed wrap knitted top, rose gold sandals and a burgundy crossover bag to complete the look.
I love how rose gold and burgundy have made a comeback, not only in fashion, but also in interior design and cosmetics. By the way, my complete outfit is from Bershka and the total price was just €42-,. Yes, my outfit was quite a bargain, because I believe style doesn’t have to be expensive. You can find the links and price breakdown at the end of this post.
For the location of my shoot I went to Pont de Bir-Hakeim, which isn’t just one of the many beautiful bridges in Paris, but it’s a popular location for photo shoots, wedding shoots in particular, and scenes from the movie Inception were shot here as well.
What’s your take on the culottes trousers? Have you got a pair yourself? If so, how do you style them? Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below. xo- Jey.
