Here goes another “off the shoulder-post”, and by “another” I mean that you’ve probably seen a bunch of these in the blogosphere already. Yes, you certainly can’t go around this “trend”. And no, I’m not a trend follower, but I just love the design and the 60-70s/boho feel of this garment, whether it comes in the shape of a top or dress. What I like about off shoulder tops in particular is the fact that the focus is more on the shoulders and neckline, rather than your breasts, which makes it a reversed décolleté. 😉
I love the top version the most though, because you can style it many different ways. If you’ve read my travel diary about the Dutch Tulip Fields you can see how I styled the off shoulder top with skinny jeans and wedges. With that being said, in this post I’d like to share with you a slightly different way of styling the off shoulder top, and that is with flared jeans!
I love flared jeans, simply because it elongates my legs, and by pairing it with some (denim)wedges they appear even longer. Oooh boy, my (personal) struggle with height!! Anyways, this flower printed top is by H&M Divided(SS16), and it’s not only an off-the-shoulder, but a crop top as well, making it perfect for a Boho City Summer Look! By the way, I got a new Summer hairstyle: Say hello to my box braids!! :)
How do you style the off-the-shoulder “trend”? Let me know in the comment section below. As always, xo – Jey.
