It’s been a while since I blogged about my healthy hair growth journey. This is because I’ve been experimenting with different products to see what will fit my hair care regimen the best. I’m still in the progress of creating a good hair care regimen for myself though……With that being said; When it comes to shampoos and/or conditioners, I’m always looking for one that not only nourishes(feeds my scalp/hair) and moisturizes(adds/restores hydration), but also detangles, smoothes and softens my hair. Oh and let’s not forget about the price! It should be affordable too 🙂
Anyways, lately I’ve been more into deep conditioning my hair rather than using a normal conditioner after shampooing. And I’ve read so many positive reviews about Aussie’s 3 Minute Miracle Moisture Deep Conditioner, that I had to try it out myself! I do have to say that I’ve never heard of Aussie as a hair care brand before, but the name already gave it away that it’s from Australia. 😉
So here’s my review on Aussie’s 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deep Treatment/Conditioner.
Product description/What they say:
According to Aussie; Their 3 Minute Miracle Moist is a deep conditioner/fix for dry and thirsty hair. The formula is made of Australian Macademia Nut Oil extract(which is the product’s main natural ingredient) and infuses moisture into dry, brittle hair , helping it go from dull to shiny in just 3 minutes. (Since my hair is naturally prone to dryness, I obviously had to try it out! Because their words and the reviews seem promising!)
Other ingredients: (see photo below)
Packaging: To be honest, the packaging doesn’t look attractive at all ! It’s just a simple white bottle with dark purple, beige and blue printing in the front and back. It’s made in the form of a squeeze dispenser though, which makes it easier for the formula to come out. I have no idea why they created a boring design for the European market. When you Google Aussie’s 3 Minute Miracle Moist, most images that will pop up have a completely different, but more beautiful design(made for the North American and Australian Market apparently).
The bottle contains only 250ml, which is not enough for my thick and thirsty hair. I’ve figured that I can use this conditioner no more than 7 times(I’ve already used it 5 times, so I still have 2 conditioning treatments left before finishing the bottle) .
Scent and substance: The scent is just incredibly sweet! It has a delicious vanilla scent to it which stays in your hair for a few days, but this is due to the Australia Macademia Nut Oil extract, I believe. The substance is white, non-greasy and not too thick. Actually just right!
Price: Okay, this deep conditioner is quite expensive here in the Netherlands, when you consider it’s just a simple drugstore brand. The price for a bottle is EUR 9,- , but when I visited France last month, I saw the same bottle for just EUR 6.50,- (and that was not on SALE). Anyways, a month ago there was a special offer on all Aussie hair care products at a local drugstore(all products were EUR 5,- each) so I bought 2 bottles for EUR 10,- total. What I say/Final Thoughts:
I love Aussie’s Miracle Moist Deep conditioner, but I do have to say that it’s still not the best I’ve tried. I have used it 5 times already, and I love how it detangles my hair and defines my curls. I also love how (in just 3 minutes!) it leaves my hair feeling so soft, but there’s no sign of any shine though. Now the most important thing: the moisture! The product restores some moisture to my dry hair, but that doesn’t last long..up to 3 days, then the dryness starts again. So the only way to retain moisture is to combine the Aussie Moist deep conditioner with a moisturizing lotion/cream and/or mist my hair with some water. I would still give this product 3 out of 5 and will buy it again in the future, but only when there’s a good offer like “buy 1 get 1 for free” or something like that.
Have you tried Aussie’s Miracle Moist Deep Conditioner ? What are your thoughts about it? Let me know in the comment section below. xo, Jey.
