Favorite Nude and Rose-Tinted Lipsticks (so far…)

When it comes to my everyday lippies I prefer to go nude or rose-tinted. Even when I’m not wearing full-on makeup, my lips are always painted in nude or rose(except for special occasions) and I always carry one of those two colors in my bag. With that being said, I’m always on the search of makeup brands that not only carry these colors in their product line, but also matches my complexion the best! In today’s post I’d like to share with you my favorite(so far..) nude and rose-tinted lippies(moisturizing and matte) from various brands; Running from drugstore to the high-end brands.

Rose-Tinted Lippies

20160611_115144The rose-tinted lippies that are currently my favorite (left to right): Wet n Wild Mocha-licious, Essence Longlasting lipstick Barely There(06), Essence Longlasting lipstick Don’t Stop The Nude(06), MAC MATTE TAUPE.

FYI: I call these lippies rose-tinted, because on my lips and with my complexion they appear rose-tinted, but for someone with a lighter skin tone these colors would match perfectly as nude. In the photo below for example I’m wearing MAC MATTE TAUPE.

Nude Lippies

FYI: I call these lippies nude, because they match my complexion perfectly and the pigmentation is just amazing, especially if you have two-tone lips(like I have). Obviously, these colors would come across darker on someone with a lighter skin tone. In the photo below for example I’m wearing BlackUp 2 in 1 Lip Pencil Jumbo Up(03).AirBrush_20160611180103

What are your favorite nude and/or rose-tinted lippies? Have you tried any of these brands before? Let me know in the comment section below. xo, Jey.
