One of my favorite skin care brands out of the bunch is without a doubt Neutrogena. Unfortunately, Neutrogena skin care(well at least the lines I normally use) is not available here in the Netherlands. So whenever I get a chance to travel abroad and I spot a drugstore that sells Neutrogena, I have to stock up on some products and bring it back home. As you might have seen from my previous travel and style posts, I was in France last month and obviously skin care brands are there in full galore, including Neutrogena(and much cheaper!).Anyways, so what I love about Neutrogena skin care is that they really focus on fighting blackheads, breakouts, acne and clogged pores, but what I find most important is that a large portion of their products are oil-free! I’ve realized that most skin care brands like Garnier or Nivea focus more on cleansing rather than clearing the skin( at least that’s the result I usually get). When I use Neutrogena skin care, I can really see a big difference in my skin after a few days of using any of their products (I do have blackheads on my oily skin, and from time to time I suffer from breakouts).Obviously Neutrogena has different product lines to cater to different skin care problems. The products I love the most and brought back home are:
Visibly Clear Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub and Facial Cleanser This Grapefruit line is made with grapefruit extract and Vitamin C and focuses on clearing breakouts, acne and even blackheads.
Visibly Clear Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub : This daily scrub is said to help eliminate blackheads.
I combine both lines(orange and pink). The Blackhead Eliminating Scrub I use on a daily and combine it with the Grapefruit Cleanser. And when I’m in a complete grapefruit mood, I use them all. I really see a difference from day one and I can’t stop using it. The smell of the grapefruit is just amazingly refreshing! Basically, the orange daily scrub is similar to the grapefruit scrub, only with a refreshing scent and added Vitamin C. Both lines are effective and work for my skin.FYI: I’m not promoting Neutrogena whatsoever. I’m just sharing my honest opinion and own experience of using Neutrogena skin care products(bought with my own hard earned cash!) 🙂
Have you used any of Neutrogena’s Skin Care line? Let me know in the comment section below. xo – Jey.
