Today I’d like to share with you another outfit I wore during my trip to Lille, France . In case you’ve missed the previous one, you can catch up with my Ripped Boyfriend Jeans and Adidas Superstar post here.
Remember when the skort(short + skirt) was a huge trend a few years ago? Now culottes (the longer version of the skort, just below the knee) have taken over and I love it!
At first I didn’t know exactly how I would combine my black culottes (from H&M btw) or if they would even look good on me….but you know what? I decided that culottes can go with any type of shoes or top. After all, it’s me who wears culottes, culottes don’t wear me;). And since I’m only 1.62m (5″4) I like the fact that culottes fall a touch longer than just below the knees. So it almost looks like a midi skort. 🙂
I wore my culottes during my city trip to Lille. Coincidence? Noooo..LOL! I thought since these pants and the breton stripes originated from France, it would be nice to rock them there as well, right? So I went for a minimal all-over black and white look, pairing my culottes with a striped breton turtle neck from H&M, black cardigan from Primark, slip-on sneakers from TOPSHOP and a crossover bag from H&M.
Below are some more photos of my culottes and breton stripes look.

Do you have some culottes hanging in your closet? If so, how do you style them? Let me know in the comment section below.
Thanks for stopping by. As always, XO- Jey.
