I’m back with a new personal style post! I have to be honest and tell you guys that I’m very happy I’ve added this section to my blog. At first I didn’t know if it would fit with my blog, but I’ve realized that the more I’m doing these personal style posts, the more I’m becoming creative with my photoshoots/photography and bring out more of my personality.
I’m a creative soul with a colorful personality so I’ve decided to showcase my personal style in more colorful settings. With that said; I’m in LOOOVE with my new cool blue sneakers from Le Coq Sportif. When I saw them in the store, I had to get them and now they’re mine!
I’ve never been an everyday-sneaker-type-of-girl, but lately sneaker brands have upped the ante with new fashionable models and fresh colors that I actually love! My cool blue sneakers are obviously not an everyday color and that’s why I love them so much, because they’re just so out of the ordinary. I styled them with a colorful graffiti printed peplum top from H&M(which blends in well with the background btw), skinny jeans from F21 and a basic navy blue blazer from ZARA.
The location of my mini photo shoot was in my old neighbourhood at NDSM: An old Amsterdam ship wharf, turned into a creative space for creative happenings and people. It’s also one of the best graffiti spots in Amsterdam. I took my personal style shots at the popular graffiti wall of the NDSM.
With a graffiti wall as your background for a photo shoot you can never go wrong: Because fashion and graffiti(street art) are both art forms that somehow always seem to merge well with one another. Both art forms are bold, expressive and colorful and with this photo shoot I wanted to bring both worlds together!
