Lately I’ve been really into making my own smoothies instead of just buying it in the store. It’s not only cheaper, but I get to decide my own ingredients. So today I’d like to share with you my mixed berries and banana smoothie I recently made.
I used the following ingredients:
- 1 small glass of Alpro Almond drink
- 1 small glass of Alpro Coconut drink
- 1 banana
- Handful of strawberries
- Handful of frozen berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
- 1 orange
After having sliced the banana and strawberries, I added it all together with the frozen berries, orange( juice squeezed out) including the almond & coconut drink into my blender.
I blended it all together for about 25 seconds until I got a fully rich and pink color.
I actually like my smoothie a bit chunky, where I can still see and taste some pieces of fruit, so I didn’t blend it thoroughly.
And there you have it! An easy made berries and banana smoothie.
You can have it for breakfast, lunch or just in between meals. It really satisfies your cravings(at least it satisfied mine!), but most importantly it’s nutritious and delicious!
